Cynthia Erivo made quite the impression during the 49th Chaplin Awards ceremony, which was held at the Lincoln Center in New York City on Monday evening.
The 37-year-old actress flashed a wide smile while posing for a few snaps at the event, and she was later pictured with fellow attendee Sharon Stone.
The performer - who was recently featured in a trailer for an upcoming musical film - donned a striking black-and-white dress that showed off her toned arms during the ceremony.
Erivo also wore a pair of jet-black high-heeled shoes and carried a matching purse for much of the event.
The Academy Award-nominated actress completed her look for the evening with various pieces of jewelry.

The performer is currently preparing for the release of the upcoming musical film Wicked, in which she will star.
The film serves as an adaptation of the musical of the same name, which was based on the 1995 book Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, which took inspiration from L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
The movie will follow the story of Elphaba Throbb, a green-skinned woman who eventually becomes known as The Wicket Witch of the West.
Erivo is set to portray Throbb, and she will costar with Ariana Grande, who plays Glinda the Good.
Also set to appear in the upcoming film are performers such as Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum and Ethan Slater.
Development on the project commenced in the mid-2010s, and Erivo signed on to portray Elphaba in November of 2021.
It was announced that Wicked would be split into two parts the following April, and production commenced that December.
The actress spoke about working on the feature during an interview with Entertainment Weekly and opened up about putting her own touch on her character's song Defying Gravity.

'I've been listening to it, and I've sung it. I kind of just go with it naturally. There's the temptation to push and to do too much with it. I don't know that that's what my method will be,' she said.
The performer went on to speak about what the song meant in the wider context of the film.
She describe the song as 'a piece about not being held back from the greatness that a person has within themselves and allowing themselves to soar beyond their own ideals or beyond their own possible wishes.'
Wicked is set to premiere on November 27, and Wicked: Part Two will debut on November 26, 2025.
